1.    RESERVATION DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT OF BALANCE. The reservation deposit is required at time of booking. The full balance is payable no later than 8 weeks prior to the departure date.
 
2.      ADDITIONAL SECURITY DEPOSIT. In addition to the reservation deposit, a security deposit, is payable to cover:

·         Breakage or damage to the premises and or contents,

·         Telephone bills,

·         Cleaning costs other than those normally provided in connection with the
         occupation of the premises.

   This security deposit is returnable subject to any deductions as above on
   confirmation all is OK.
 
3.    CANCELLATIONS.  If the outstanding balance remains unpaid 8 weeks prior to the date of departure the owners reserve the right to cancel the booking and, in this event, the deposit will be forfeited. If the Client cancels after the booking is confirmed the deposit will be forfeited. The person who made the booking form must confirm all cancellations in writing.
 
4.    UNAVOIDABLE CHANGES. The owners reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel the booking and in this event the owners will return all sums (but without interest or compensation). In the unlikely event of a major change to the booking being necessary, the owners will inform the Client as soon as reasonably possible and, if the Client does not wish to accept the booking on this basis, the owners will cancel the booking and return all sums (but without interest and compensation).
 
5.   COMPLAINTS. Should a problem arise relating to the premises the Client should contact our representative in Monchique. Details are in the information folder, found on arrival in the premises.
 
6.   AVAILABILITY. The premises will be available for occupation from 4.00 p.m. on the first day of the rental period and must be vacated by 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure. An additional day rental pro rata may be charged against the security deposit for departures after the stated time.
 
7.    LIABILITY. The owners accept no responsibility whatsoever for personal injury, accidents, loss or damage to persons or personal effects however caused. The owners accept no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage or alteration to the terms of booking caused by events beyond our control including flight delays, or cancellations, adverse weather conditions, fire flood or industrial dispute.
 
8.    SAFETY, SECURITY AND MAINTENANCE. The owners, and or their representative, reserve the right to enter the premises at any time for whatever reason.
 
9.   DESCRIPTIONS. All descriptions are made in good faith and every care is taken to ensure their accuracy but no liability will be accepted in the event of error or misprints.
 
10.  SWIMMING POOL AND POOL AREA. The owners and the owner’s representative do not accept liability for injury, howsoever caused, as a result of the use of the pool. Adults are specifically requested never to allow children unsupervised in the pool or pool area. It is recommended you use only plastic tumblers, and plates when “dinning on the pool area”.
 
11.   NO PETS of any kind are allowed.
 
12.  NO SMOKING. You are specifically requested not to smoke inside the villa.
